Hockey & Ice Skating
The season is beginning for indoor ice skating and hockey leagues at the Ice Forum at champlin, located at 12165 Ensign Avenue.
Open Skate
Bring the kids and have a blast during open skating times at the Ice Forum. We even rent ice skates so there are no excuses for staying home. Beginning September 5th open skating will be offered M-F from 10:00 am to 11:45 am, Saturday 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm and Sundays from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm. You can call 763-421-3696 to confirm times as they are subject to change based on the demands of high school league events.
Plan A Birthday Party
Birthday parties are popular at the ice forum as you get the complete package, with meeting room rental, skate rental and open skate passes. You can bring in your own food and decorations. A birthday t-shirt is given to the birthday boy or girl as a memento of the special day.
There are two birthday packages available, the rate for residents is listed, and the rate for non-residents is $10 more.
Package A: $50 for two hours of room rental and eight skate passes and skate rentals.
Package B: $60 for two hours of room rental and 15 skate passes and skate rentals.
*Additional skate passes and rental cost is $2 per attendee.
Community Rooms
If you would like to rent the Ice Forum community rooms for your next meeting or special event please call 763-421-3696. There are two rooms available, which can be combined to host up to 220 people. The rates are based on the size of the room and range from $15 to $35 per hour + sales tax, for residents. For non-residents the rates range from $20 to $45 per hour + sales tax.
Adult Open Hockey
The Ice Forum is excited to announce the open hockey schedule for this fall Offered Friday mornings from 6:00 am to 7:00 am and beginning September 10th, Sunday eveings from 9:30 pm to 11:00 pm. The cost is $5 per session. A helmet and equipment are required.
Pro Shop
Did you know that the Ice Forum offers a Pro Shop? Next time you need tape, a mouth guard or skate laces check out the Ice Forum Pro Shop!
Skate Sharpening
The Champlin Ice Forum is now sharpening skates with the Dupla Skate Sharpener. The cost is $3 per pair.
